Meredith L. Mavero is a program associate at Hillman Family Foundations (HFF), which supports the philanthropic and civic work of multiple generations of Hillman family members in Pittsburgh and across the country. Meredith comes to HFF after 12 years working at the University of Pittsburgh. Most recently, she served as manager of student programs and community outreach for the Elsie Hillman Civic Forum at the Institute of Politics. She has also served in various student programming roles with the University of Pittsburgh’s Center for Global Health and its School of Public Health's Department of Infectious Diseases & Microbiology.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Rhetoric, a Master of Education in Higher Education Management, and a Certificate in Public and Professional Writing from the University of Pittsburgh.
